NEW BEGINNINGS – Rachael

My Dad reconditioned a 1950's AGA Thermic for me when i got married. It was solid fuel but was the heart of our little cottage for 13 years. My Dad originally bought it as spares to recondition my Mom's AGA thermic. My AGA Thermic was white with a black top the same as my Mom's. Before we moved house, one saturday in September 2007, my Dad; my sister and me flat packed and dismantled my AGA Thermic and my Dad has now reconditioned my Mom's AGA after 13 years!! In recompense my Dad bought me a brand new 4 oven oil AGA which i had installed last month in my new kitchen. i know that my new AGA will be just as good and welcoming in my kitchen as my old AGA Thermic. A kitchen doesn't feel like home without the AGA to lean up against.
