Aga saga – SueD

Our Aga is fit for the Saga generation: it's 53 years old and the warm heart of our Edwardian house, used constantly to cook all our meals and provide our hot water. We've been custodians of our beloved Aga since 1979 and can't imagine life without it. We had it converted to run on gas back in 1986 after years of humping Phurnacite and shovelling ash. It has seen our children grow up and been a sanctuary for our animals - we've even used the simmering oven to revive ailing ducklings !
