Comfort and Joy – Grandma Albert

I nursed our 18 year old cat Albert in front of the Aga, giving warmth and comfort to his old bones until the sad day arrived and a visit from the vet helped him slide gently away. The Aga still gave warmth but life seemed on hold for some time and I grieved, still stepping carefully around the area he used to lay. Eventually I got Benson, a seal point siamese, then a few months later Eli the dalmatian puppy. Getting them together was quite a feat but, thanks to the warmth and comfort of the Aga they eventually settled down together and are now the best of friends. They walk together round the tarn much to the delight of visitors and then rush home for food and a cosy spot next to the Aga. Needless to say Benson gets the best spot every time.
