I grew up with Aga's as my parents had them in two houses.As a teenager I sometimes found the Aga a little irritating, though I wasn't doing much cooking then! We moved into a very old house in 1985 and it had a four oven Aga, already 20 years old.What bliss now to have one and discover what it can really do! Sadly, we moved again in 1990 and I was without for 14 years.Now we live in a barn, converted into 2 houses by friends.I always envied them their Aga whenever we visited and 3 years ago we moved into the other half, so now I have my friend back.That's how I see my Aga, as a friend, always there, warm and comforting, reminding me of my childhood.Also, I think it makes you a better and more prolific cook!
