AGA Stories

From Generation to Generation – Nelly

We inherited our original 1930's solid fuel Aga which saw lambs, piglets, kittens, puppies & most importantly our 2 lovely children grow up. Last year it could cope no more, so we invested in a shiny new electric Aga. No dust, no smells just lovely cooking & 3 ovens to boot! We now don't have to stoke & coax depending on the wind direction but we have the same great taste to our food. Ironing is still done on the simmering lid & bottoms are still warmed on the rail. Teenagers back from University make toast & tea after dancing the night away on the home comfort they have missed. Let's hope we never have to be without an Aga.
