I have wanted an aga for years so when renovating my house, bought a reconditioned aga for the kitchen, despite the misgivings of the builder, who had never prepared a site for one before! My labrador bitch had a litter of puppies within weeks of the aga being installed, they were raised in the kitchen, warm and cosy infront of the aga, for the first 4 weeks.
