Born again in the kitchen! – AGA Lover

17 years ago my good friend moved into a new house that they had built and they installed an Aga four oven cooker. She showed it to me and explained how it was always on. I thought it was beautiful but didn't really get how you would cook on something that can't be adjusted. Sadly, my friend died last year. Her husband sold the house and the new buyers didn't want the Aga. He said that he wanted to sell it. I had to make him an offer. The Aga was so connected to my friend's memory. He sold me the cooker and I had it installed in my kitchen that I was in the midst of re-doing. It is the centerpiece of my new kitchen. My husband and I both cook, and both absolutely love the cooker. We wouldn't want to cook on anything else, ever! Yes, our gas bill has gone up, but we haven't used our heater once since we put the cooker in. I love walking out to the kitchen for my morning coffee and feeling the cozy warmth.
