unappreciated Aga – narracankid

I have always wanted an Aga since 1986 when I saw one ripped out of a large Edwardian home in St.Kilda and trashed on the rubbish pile. Unfortunately I had no way to get this 6 oven Aga home. One day I promised myself I would buy one. I saw one on Ebay and it had been named AGT stove and had no bids. Eventually I got it for $261.99 and then had the task of getting a friend with a trailer to take me to country Kilmore in Victoria to collect it. It was on a pallet so the guy a scrap/tractor dealer put it on the trailer but then it staying on the trailer for a month as I worked out how to get it into position at my home. Eventually a crane truck was used to move it to my backyard kitchen area. I love it. Needs reconditioning but is makes me smile...Was working up until a year ago in an old farmhouse in Serpentine Victoria Australia.NOTE: this is not my Aga but the model it is.Pic to come later when in place.
