my agas – Mrs D

I have 3 agas!!!! we have 2 holiday homes in our holiday business and they both have agas, plus I have one in my home. Once you have had an aga how can you go back to a conventional oven!! Many of our holiday guests once having used are agas I am sure by their comments go home and buy one!!! Once I had a cleaner who scratched my spotless chrome hob top by using a scourer (idiot) needless to say they were sacked on the spot and I still look at the scratches with despair, but hubby is buying me a new hob cover for xmas!! My aga cost more than my car - why not its used as much! Every time my 80 year old dad comes for sunday tea I spend the evening before cleaning it to an inch of its life as he always inspects it with pleasure!!!I love aga, its everything I love in design, durability, sustainability, britishness, beauty and sensibility. it sums me up !!!!
