My boy....Yes I'm sad!! – Bertie

This is Bertie, my Rayburn.....thank you God for sending him to me. As an avid cook I vow NEVER to cook on anything else. My Bertie eats coal and wood and I've got his feeding routine off to a tee now, after some experimenting, and he's so easy to maintain and cook on. So many people say your Rayburn/Aga becomes part of the family like a pet and Ohhhhh they are sooo right. He has a mind of his own and sometimes he plays me a bit but we normally work things out when I've stroked and pleaded with him. But 90 per cent of the time he is my dream boy. The cats love him. my husband loves what he produces.... ahhhh the shortbread...which the whole of village loves...'Berties Shortbread' is renowned at fetes. If you are thinking of going to the Rayburn pound to rescue one, don't hesitate n if I can help just ask. x
