My amazing Aga – Maureen

We lived in England for 3 years and had the pleasure of cooking with a Aga in our rental home. We decided we must have one back in the USA, so before we moved in 2008, we bought a gently used Aga on ebay. It was lovingly crated up by my husband, and shipped with us back to the US. It took us a while, but we have now purchased a home and completely gutted the kitchen... in order to build it to perfectly fit our Aga. It officially turned on Christmas Day 2010 and fed us well all day long. Now almost a year later and I couldn't be happier. We worried about keeping it going all year, especially with hot Cincinnati summers, but it was perfect. We did turn it off for a week and the kitchen wasn't right -- even in summer, that warmth was a blessing. I love my Aga!
