The chameleon – Levensplezier

As you may see on the photograph I have a multi-coloured AGA of which I am, of course, very proud. When I went to buy mine I saw a terracotta one with a racing green door in the showroom. I thought this was quite interesting. After enquiring with the salesman the explanation was that they led the original door and replaced it with any other one. This planted a seed in my head. Upon selecting the colour I was totally in love with the aubergene one. Then the idea struck again to have a multi-coloured AGA. We selected the five different colours with the aid of the miniature doors. I believe that the salesman was a bit startled as he had never had a sale like this before and did not know of anyone being this bold. Promptly they named mine “the Chameleon”. When it was ready a picture of it was hung in the canteen of, then, the Dutch AGA importer. The idea for these colours had come from the fact that I also wanted my 10 Stokke chairs to have different colours. It all matches perfectly now.
