AGA for Ever! – Dudley

Youth Hostelling as a Student in Norway 1950, I discovered this novel device could only be used when the Lady Hostel-warden invited me to "lift the lid". Her AGA ran on Hydro-Electricity, I was very interested having just graduated in Electrical Engineering and bought a CB plus a matching AGAmatic boiler for my first house in 1954. I left them installed when the Admiralty moved me to Bath. My present model bought in 1968 from an engineering colleague for only £50 (his wife disliked it!). It has been installed here since 1975 in daily use; maintenance without further expenditure, being done by myself.
