"Do you deal in 2nd hand Agas?" I asked. "Its not often people part with them but you could leave your name and number...", "No,no" I interrupted-"I have an Aga, I want to get rid of it, I want something more instant". The Aga shop assistant looked at me as though I was from an other planet. "You cant get more instant than an Aga!", so I explained Id just moved house and inherrited it but had just cooked the breakfast on the woodburner that morning, fed up of waiting for the oil in the frying pan to heat up". Gracefully she lifted the aga lid, laid down the baco glide, cracked an egg and loweredd the concaved lid. When she lifted the lid...I was sold! I just love my Aga!
