A life of agas – The Can Man

Born in 1946 my parents had a solid fuel aga. When we moved to the farm ther was the aga which was often used to help orphan lambs and piglets to survive. In 1970 I moved into my own accomodation which had...a solid fuel aga. This was change to a new oil fired version. In 1990 I moved into a small semi and installed....a propane Aga. All was great until the sensor for the pilot light failed. Muggins decided to manually light it with a match! Bad move. Oven doord flew open, lids did a little dance and one of the barrels moved! Dog scarpered and was found under a bush 30 minutes later!! Lates move has seen oil fired Aga which is the heart of the house. Couldn't live without one.
