A long wish come thru – Swissrose

More than twenty year I got introduced to AGA. We visited a demonstration and I was hooked. The new price for one was a bit over my budget at that time, so it had to wait. Moving to Switzerland in 2007, I got a quote for a new kitchen, nothing special, which was so high that I needed to sit down and catch my breath. Quick thinking and some calculation made me propose to my husband that if I would build my own Ikea kitchen, get the top of belgan bluestone I would have still left over for my AGA. Which is exactly what we did. I was rather scared after I placed the order, as sometimes if you have been wishing for something so long, it might turn into a disappointment. But it was not. I love it still every single day. Changing from conventional cooking to Aga cooking is peanuts. I love entertaining now as I prepare lots of things beforehand and can show up relaxed and refreshed to finish things up without standing above steaming pots and pans. All our skiing gear dries on the AGA and even the traditional cheese fondue is done on this english symbol.
