An old friend! – Eddy

We purchased our 1952 Aga second hand for £20 in 1969 & reconditioned it for a further £100! It was a solid fuel type until about 10 years ago when gas finally arrived in our village.Prior to 1969 my mother purchased a similar Aga in 1953 so I was very familiar with them & would not be without it, it is irreplaceable.Even in the heat of summer I am very loathe to let it go out as it keeps the kitchen & house aired.
