Dismay – Dissapointed

My Masterchef is 6years old (and just out of warrenty) was my pride and joy. An investment appliance that was sold to me as something that would last me many years with the added bonus that should I change the colour scheme of my kitchen in ten years time I could buy replacement doors for the aga. Things have beem slowly going wrong with it (automatic ignition, temperature control etc) but more recently I have been unable to set the clock because the fuses would blow in the entire house. No clock working means no oven. I called the engineer out (£125.00 for the first hour and a £100.00 for each hour there after) I was told that it was beyound economical repair and that this model has been discontiued and they are not sure they can even get the spare parts. WOW. I am waiting for some response from the company and will update my space whan I have some news. Either way I am certain its going to cost a lot of money. AGA for quality and longevity? I don't think so!
