My Aga – Serena

We knew we were moving into a new house and we had been saving for an AGA for years. I had been brought up with AGAs and had a Rayburn in my first rented cottage and a a two door AGA in our first rented cottage as a married couple. I was distraught when the AGA site manager came and said our ceilings were too low for the flue of an oil fired AGA.... However, we could have an electric one!! HURRRAY! We ordered a cream 'classic' AGA with a module and gas hob and I have never been happier with my cooking arrangements. And airing, and ironing and heating the house and putting ill animals in front of and drying herbs and flowers on and....the list is endless!
