Replacement – rosie

When building our house we had it designed with an alcove for the Aga. We were unable to afford a new one and paid £5 for an old Aga matic circa 1930's, When the inside if the top oven door fell off and jammed the door locking in the meal for my dinner party we decided it had to go! We were left some money and chose a new solid fuel one and I took the day off work to watch it installed as I was so excited. It cost £1,800. 26 years later I still think of it as new! It is the living heart of my home.
