Inherited – Dot

I inherited my aga with the house! Never cooked with one ever, my aunt had a solid fuel one which i saw as a teenager but wasn't really interested at the time! When I moved to this house i wanted a range cooker, which was in at the time. However, my friend, who has an Aga suggested that i used it for a couple of months and then decide. I did and I am still using it - my Aga also has a hot water system so we have hot water for ever all the time, no waiting for baths, or showers or kettles for tea etc., also very warm in winter, everyone gathers in the kitchen. Wouldn't be without it! Not moving without my Aga!! The envy of my friends - hot oven no waiting for defrosting pizzas etc., intsant heat. easy to use. Fabulous.
