how i got my aga – pambt

my daughter turned my cooker on and it burnt out my neighbour had a relative in a care home and her house had an aga he offered it me we went for it with tractor and trailer we rolled it out on rollers down a narrow passage till the tractor could lift it onto the trailer we fetched it home and had it fitted by brians uncle up the road ad the next day was really snowwy so it was a godsend having only a log fire for heat nowwe get up and the kitchen is lovely and warm constantly and the water is always hot my aga was installed for the first time new in 1953 and is still going strong we just had to have a lid interior replaced last year
