Still going strong – Long life AGA

I inherited a very shabby and battered 1972 4 oven model AGA when I bought this house 2 years ago. Before moving in it was dismantled and taken away by a local company to be completely refurbished, including re-enamelling from a dated British Racing Green to a sleek Anthracite. It was re-installed and running by the time I moved in and looked absolutely brand new. After a few 'teething problems' it has been running like a dream ever since. I have had a beautiful hand built country kitchen designed around it and as well as being able to cook great food for family and friends it keeps the dogs, cats and family warm.
