Holiday – Beryli

I went on a holiday to a cottage on the Gower in 1991. There was a brand new Aga in the kitchen there and I spent a great deal of the two weeks in the kitchen cooking and listening to Val Doonican. A very happy time so when I retired a year later my retirement present was a new Aga which has been wonderful - so easy to use, no knobs to twiddle, always on standby (I don't even turn it off in the summer). It is now very useful for Wiltshire Farm meals - 35 minutes in the roasting oven and a hot piping meal is ready.
