Love at first sight – Jane and Bob

I was looking for a range type cooker to stand in a chimney breast. My husband and I did the rounds of the electrical stores but stainless steel and glass didn't really fit the bill for our farmhouse kitchen. On a trip to Peterborough we popped into the Aga Store at Warmington Mill. The rest is history. We chose the dark blue, electric six-four Aga, to go with a collection of blue and white ware pottery. Being a ceramic artist I painted all the tiles for the surround in a Delft style pattern with the inscription " One cannot think well, love well, sleep well if one has not dined well" (Virginia Woolf) After a year we had a problem with the thermostat on the fan-oven, parts covered by warranty but engineer a bit pricey.
