Our Aga! – Family Lawton

We bought the Aga from a lovely old couple who had advertised it in the local Leicester Mercury. They wanted it to go to a "good home" and resisted all attempts to pay them more than the very low price they were asking It is a converted solid fuel model. After several years in the garage, we installed it when we could afford to do up our kitchen! We have fond memories of it as the centre of our home, for example putting our second born son to sleep in his pram when awake in the middle of the night.
