AGA Stories

I'd never want to be without an Aga! – Sarah

I worry about all the stories claiming about the environmental impact of having an Aga. Where I live we have no gas so the options for heating are mainly oil or electricity. When we had our Aga installed we immediately cut the amount of time we used the heating in the house - and still do. Is that really so bad for the environment? The benefits outweigh any minuses by far. We all love the Aga. My children have learned to cook on it, its true that its the heart of the home and one of the best days in the year is the day in late September when the Aga's fired up again! (I loathe the fact that we turn it off in the summer). Still it gives me pleasure just to look at it in the kitchen - its a 1930's model that works as efficiently as any. I don't know anyone who's ever had an Aga who hasn't loved it!
