AGA Stories

in-laws' legacy – helen

I inherited my Aga when we got married and moved into the family farm, 12 years ago. My in-laws were just washing up as we arrived back from honeymoon, and they swiftly departed! I read up loads about how to cook on the Aga. My Mum-in-law is a great host and was always entertaining- she said the Aga was magic because it always used to provide the right amount of food. I have had loads of disasters, but even more successes. It bakes fruit cakes fantastically. Now I don't know how other ovens work. If we're away, I'm glad to get back to what I know!
