Stormy weather – Joyce

Always dreaming of having an Aga, but it came faster then I thought. During the storm in february 2007 forty-tree Douglas trees felt down and the damage was huge. We didn't know what to do with all that wood, but the solution came. My husband saw on market place a second hand Rayburn for solid fuel. It was a lovely dark blue one and I loved it the very moment when I saw it. We go for it and I have to learn a Lott about cooking on solid fuel. I was really surprised how to cook potatoes in the oven ! The only thing for my husband is to take care of the lumber wood, because the Rayburn is always hungry for wood.....
