Exactly what we needed – Alan

Having seen the documentary TV program about the Aga we just knew an Aga would suit our lives. To be sure we had the right idea about Aga’s ability we attended 2 Aga demonstrations these served to make us even more sure that an Aga was exactly what we needed in our lives, so we started saving. We started cooking on the Aga hotplates almost before the fitters had left and we have never been disappointed. No longer can we forget to switch the oven on, we never turn her off. Every year we seem to find more things Aga does well and its not just the cooking! We have a small home and no central heating so Aga provides heat and airs our clothes and drys my wife’s wool for spinning. The desire for a tile panel to complement Aga meant that Aga led my wife to gain a new skill (as seen in our picture). Aga has also enabled us to create more space in the kitchen as we dispensed with most of the electric gadgets including the electric kettle, Aga does everything better bread, yoghurt, rice, eggs, baked potatoes… and we love cooking all manner of things on the simmer plate including pompadoms. If it is possible we love Aga even more than when she was first installed.
