Aggy the aga – annette

we have just moved home where an aga lives, we have always liked agas but didn't have a clue how to use one, so decided we'd be getting it removed really soon , but after only three weeks she has a name, Aggy & we're very attached to her already dispite saying we were going to remove her & fit a more modern stove. we are now finding we are using her everyday for cooking & making the tea hence the new stove kettle! the kitchen is cosy & the baked potatoes are fantastic ! even tryed making pastys in her & they were great the pastry was lovely I was nervous they would be ruined but now I will cook more & not worrie at all! she now drys clothes every night this saving on tumbling them, plus when shes on we aren't needing to use any other heating as the whole house is toasty & cosy ! some how i think she'll be staying put ! plus she looks great too ! I think I will be learning lots of ways of cooking & uses in my lovely new aga .
