Elderly aga – RoxanneDG

My aga was inherited with my house. The original 'agaman' who serviced my aga had been doing so for over 20 years but has since retired. The aga has been moved twice in to different locations in the kitchen and is happily ensconsed in the old fireplace now. I was going to replace it this year but the actual cost of having a new chimney liner and base laid made the exercise prohibitive, so instead, I have had the top re-enamelled and two new lids, making it look as good as new. As my house is between 2-300 years old, a new aga would probably have looked out of place anyway!...
