Sunshine – Celia

Prior to moving up to Scotland to open a B & B my friends heard a yellow Aga was planned. Until then I'd had a white Rayburn. "Why yellow?" "It'll remind me that somewhere in the world the sun IS shining!" Much mirth. On reflection, I wondered if I might become bored with 'yellow' (therefore rather costly to change), so a cream Aga was installed and was my first purchase on arrival. However, the china is egg- yolk coloured. Both are admired by guests. The Aga isn't let out, heats the water, it warms the house on chilly summer evenings, comforts numerous animals, and is the envy of my neighbours - the nearest is, perhaps, half a mile. More importantly, the Aga helps with arthritis pain. A splendid idea to collate Aga tales. Is a book to be forthcoming?
