Almost a lifetime. – Mistee

My Aga has been with me almost all of my life, it was installed in my parants home in 1957 when I was a young girl, and I inherited the house in 1988. The oven is always ready to use, and the taste of the food is something special (or is this my cooking?) One of our favourite foods is porridge cooked overnight in the cool oven, all ready to serve up before we are properly awake. (Don't forget a little vanilla essence when you put it in) I often wonder how many gas or electric cookers we would have got through in the years we have had our Aga. Wouldn't mind being able to run it on wood. Love the old thing! As you can see, so does the cat.
