my aga – alex

Our Aga is very old and has been converted from solid to oil. It is the model with the temperate gagegoing the other way. Although we would never be without it there are difficulties with it. It also heats the wwater but does that first and we don not seem to be able to tone the water down!!! recently, we had it repacked and various safety devices installed including sorting the flue out which had been put in originally upside down! As it is gravity fed we are lucky that it does no go out in our frequent power cuts. oUR aga has nurtured recently hatched ducks, sick cats, lazy cats and poorly lambs. As you would expect it is often difficult to get close for the pile of dogs and children and husbands leaning on it.
