"The Carboniser" – Anne

When we renovated our Victorian terrace, I had to work hard to convince Tony that an AGA was worth the expense. I love it for all the usual reasons, but Tony has a number of reasons why he doesn't love it as I do. Primarily it is because we have to turn it off during the heat of summer and I can't convince him that is acceptable and secondly, I forgot some sausages that were grilling until 7am the next morning; hence his nickname for the AGA,"The Carboniser".
