Extension for the Aga – Jazzy

I blame a warm sunny night drinking wine in the garden for us purchasing an Aga. We decided we needed a new kitchen but by the end of the night we had decided to build an extension to house the 4 door AGA I was after. Although the AGA was installed in July 2007 it took a further 6 months after that to complete the kitchen. Overall, it took over 2 years from that evening to when we had our first big party on my husbands 41st Birthday this May. It was great to get everyone round. All my friends helped prepare the food and I even had a special request from one 70 year old guest that they wanted their barbeque food done in the AGA. The AGA proved really useful that day as I kept popping things in to be cooked and they came out lovely. Also it was useful to keep the Barbeque food warm until everything was ready. My mum and dad were also staying at the time and they did not want to leave. They spent most of the time in the kitchen. I even taught my mum how to cook on the AGA. All in all it has been a real pleasure having the AGA and everyone loves it.
