Happy at last! – JJ

I've always wanted an Aga, so when we extended our kitchen I took the opportunity of including an Aga in our plans. We had an old wood burner in the fireplace so that was removed, the chimney breast knocked back & a perfect spot was created for a brand new 3 oven cream Aga. Unfortunately we couldn't get it installed before Christmas so it arrived in January of 2007. I attended a few cookery demonstrations & we were away. Everybody in the family loves cooking in & on it & as you can see in the photo, the four legged family members cuddle up close for it's warmth. In winter it has to be cleared of dogs, cats & wet horse rugs before the cooking can start! Another use I've discovered is germinating seeds on the shelf above the Aga - they germinate in record time! I don't know how we did without it & don't know what I'd do if we did move house - I think the first thing would have to be to order another Aga!
