Vanquished – Montacute

I fought a desperate rearguard action against an AGA. A verbal dual with the local stockists - "What could an AGA do that the combination of an ordinary cooker and a microwave couldn't?" Well now I know. I am pleased that I was vanquished - even though I had to mortgage the children to pay for it. The triumph is slow cooked belly of pork - to die for - 'literally'. Sunday lunches will never be the same!
