Heart of the House – Suzie

Being married to a soldier meant living in 23 different Army houses in 34 years. At last we bought our own house - a former poor house on the Somerset Levels, which we renovated. Top of the list was a new kitchen in a former barn previously used to store cider apples. At one end of my kichen is the Aga, which radiates warmth and camaraderie throughout the house. The kitchen is where all the family gather, including 2 grown up sons when they come home. My Aga is a another much loved member of the family and we're not moving again!
