the day the door blew off – linda

I had left my husband Robert at home when I went off to work. He decided to cook the evening meal and found a steamed sponge pudding in the cupboard. He carefully placed the bowl in a le creuset casserole dish (unbreakable) into the warming oven. A few hours later he heard a loud bang and went into the kitchen to find the pan completely shattered and the oven door across the kitchen. He fixed the door back on and confessed afterward that he had forgotten to put water in the pan. Never mind at least my aga was safe.
