The best thing ever apart from my family and dogs! – Lena Chandler

Suppose I had been secretely dreaming about AGAs for several years. Then suddenly our ceramic hob started to break down and the dreams became more frequent. So, when my husband said I could have an AGA to replace the old cooker I could not believe my luck! However, I was very worried that neither me or my family of four children would get on with cooking on it. Well, I need not have worried. The cooking never stops!! All children have become confident and excellent cooks since the AGA. So, much so that the kitchen is always full of young people creating dishes for themself, me and my husband and their friends. When my 19 year old went to uni I had no fear she would not be able to cook and feed herself. The absolute joy of having a cosy and warm kitchen with the feeling of an open fire - the wonderful way all food is cooked -the timeless beauty of it - the way it irons for me! - no more ugly and expensive, toaster, electric kettle, microwave, tumble drier, wet shoes, ovens to clean....... - the way it fits into our country kitchen - our dogs adore it - it all mean I have never regretted dreaming of an AGA.
