A Slice of Home – AGA Lover

Ferny Creek is situated in the Dandenong Ranges area of Melbourne. It's average temperature is 5 or 6 degrees lower than the rest of Melbourne. Our garden is covered with non-native trees. There's even a village down the road with a cafe called Miss Marple's tearooms. In other words...it's about as English as Australia gets! When we decided to renovate the kitchen we discovered the Aga shop in Melbourne. I've always loved agas, but Hubby wasn't convinced. However we went along to an aga demonstration day and Tattie Happell weaved her magic on him. SOLD! All we had to do was argue over which colour...went for pewter in the end...and we've never looked back.
