An AGA at last – Louise

Having never heard of an aga until I got married, we house sat for a friend with one and I was smitten. Unfortunately as a young family with a mortgage etc. I never dreamt we would ever be able to afford one. When we started to look for a new house it wasn't on my list of requirements, we looked at loads of houses all of which the other half instantly said he didn't like, until we came to look at our future house, the room sizes ticked all the right boxes, the garden was a good size, location good etc. and I couldn't believe my luck as there was an aga already installed in the kitchen. Needless to say we put an offer in straight away and moved in 6 weeks later it was obviously meant to be. We love it, you regularly have to move a variety of animals from in front of it, my teenage kids love cooking on it, fried eggs on bake-o-glide being their favorite (not much to wash up after!) currently home to an orphaned duckling in a cage in front of it having given the sickly lamb a good start in life last month. I can't imagine life without it.
