Motherhen – Motherhen

I could tell you lots of stories about my aga, but the most recent one occured when my brand new hens egg incubator broke down after only the first day of incubation. I had to return it and wait for a replacement. To keep the eggs incubating I placed them on the warming plate of my four oven aga, placing lots of towels under them to achieve the perfect temperature of 37.5 C. It must have worked because the eggs are hatching out as I write.
