fluffy happy birthdays – angel

we always promised ourselves an aga when we moved into a house we intended to stay in, so the first thing we did when we moved from london to cheshire was put our aga in. it was the best thing we ever did. i have never been a good cook though my husband is. i became so in love with cooking in my aga and found it so easy and forgiving that since 2002 i bake christmas cakes and puddings for friends and families. the children now have birthday cakes that are soft and fluffy instead of the flat ones that i turned out until their 6th and 4th birthday respectively. after nearly 7 years i am still learning new things to do in my aga.we used to turn it off in the summer but now cant bear to as its like the heartbeat of the house has stopped.
