Perfect place for an Aga – Thornbury

When my husband and I moved into our home on a freezing cold St.Andrew's Day, twenty years ago, we had in mind the perfect place for an Aga. It would look lovely in the little alcove by the arch in our lovely kitchen. The large kitchen and garden were the two features that made us fall in love with the house. However, our two sons were born fairly quickly and it took 15 years for us to fulfill our dream of owning our Aga. With a north facing kitchen it is now much cosier and with my great love of cooking it has certainly been the best thing that we have ever bought - well worth the wait!
