Heart of the Home – JAC

We moved into our present house approximately 8 years ago, it came with a racing green, oil burning Aga. I was terrified of it - preferring to BBQ (we moved into our house in July). The previous owners kindly left me some Aga cookery books and after a while I tentatively began experimenting with recipes and finally 'got the hang' of things. I went on cookery demonstrations at my local Aga showroom and even visited Mary Berry for one of her workshops - I fell in love with my Aga. We have recently had a kitchen refurbishment and my husband carelessly mentioned having a new range cooker fitted instead. ABSOLUTELY NO WAY I SAID - THE AGA IS THE HEART OF OUR HOME, so now we are the proud owners of a new reconditioned cream Aga which compliments our new kitchen beautifully.
