My Kitchen Friend – Michelle

My aga really is my friend in the kitchen. My mother in law is always very impressed with how clean it is - but I really DO love my aga!It is the most expensive item I will ever own inside my home - so why wouldn't I look after it, cleaning and polishing it when ever the need arises! My husband wants to move - I want to take my aga with me - but he is probably right when he says it is the aga that will sell the house! My little girl gets very cold and her favourite pastime is to sit huddled up warming herself whilst I cook away! My husband has to have a toasted cheese sandwhich (cooked on the simmering plate) every lunch time and gets quite miffed when summer comes and we HAVE to turn it off! I then refuse to cook in the house on the sad little oven - and light up the BBQ until it is time to turn the aga back on!
