my trusty rayburn – susan from welburn

For many years now I have baked numerous cakes for many occassions, but over the past 5 years I have been asked by friends and their friends to bake and design their families wedding cakes. I enjoy this so much that it seems to have turned into a small cottage industry, this now being my permanent job, I use my own eggs from my 8 lovely free range hens who are lovingly called "my girls". Using these eggs make my cakes so golden and everyone admires the beautiful texture that my aga/raburn pruduces the taste is so different to other cookers. I have 6 weddings this year, all different types of cakes, from fruit to chocolate to vanilla sponge, all will be made on my trusty rayburn.
